SME June 07 Newsletter
It has been a great chapter year! Time to relax and celebrate.
For our annual summer social the board thought a central location would be best – and one that would be “free”. Seems that the annual Kernersville Foundation Summerfest on June 22-23 best fits that requirement. See Map for location. Would be great to see a large turn-out for our SME group. I plan to be there around 1:00 pm on Saturday if you want to look me up and give input on what you would like to see us do in our chapter. (We have not arranged a formal gathering area for SME - however, if there is enough interest I can do this -- but there would be a cost for this. RSVP via email if you would like to do this. Given enough interest I will arrange and get back to you with location details and cost. Otherwise just bring your lawn chairs and we will stake out an area near the bandstand.) Be sure to bring the kids and grandkids!
Hope to see you on the 23rd. I’ll probably be wearing my straw hat with the red EAA band. I will have my cell phone -- 336 403 5076 so give me a call so we can enjoy the music and festivities together.
